“Where Discipline Meets Recovery.”
The Barracks Sober Living provides a mission-driven path to sobriety built on structure, accountability, and brotherhood. This is where men rebuild their lives, earn their strength back, and rise with purpose.
GARR & THORR Compliance and Approval Underway
The Barracks operates in full alignment with GARR and THORR standards and is currently in the process of obtaining formal approval. We work closely with Accountability Courts across Georgia — including Drug Court, Veterans Court, Mental Health Court, and DUI Court — to provide structured, recovery-focused housing with scholarship options available for qualified participants.”
Committed to a Safe Transition
We work closely with the GRIP Unit at the Gwinnett County Jail to help ensure individuals have a safe, structured, and drug-free transition from incarceration into recovery housing. By engaging directly inside the jail, we are able to build trust early, assess needs, and create a clear plan for stability upon release. Our commitment is to reduce gaps in care, lower the risk of relapse, and provide a supportive environment where individuals can begin rebuilding their lives with accountability and purpose.
Veteran-Inspired
Environment
Our military-themed approach isn’t just a style — it’s a commitment. The Barracks was built from a deep desire to support our veterans and provide a safe, drug-free environment where both veterans and civilians can rebuild their lives with structure, dignity, and purpose. Our model honors the strength, discipline, and brotherhood that veterans embody, creating a place where everyone has the chance to rise.
Transitional Living + Peer Support
The Barracks provides more than just a place to stay — we provide a pathway forward.
Our residents receive structured transitional living combined with one-on-one peer support from a Certified Peer Support Specialist. This means every resident gets personalized guidance, accountability, and mentorship from someone who has walked the same path and understands the challenges of early recovery.
At The Barracks, you’re not just housed — you’re supported, guided, and set up to succeed.
